Kindergarten- 12th Grade

Elementary-aged students are welcomed into an online classroom rich with games, hands-on activities, and props from puppets to colorful pictures. We explore fiction and non-fiction genres by reading and writing about imaginary worlds as well as about the world all around us. We play spelling and word-family games to build a broad vocabulary base. Sessions are structured around homework support and interests of students.

To continue to develop their writing skills, middle school students engage in idea-generation practice for well-developed short-answer and essay writing. While reading, discovering context clues for vocabulary and literary techniques can increase reading enjoyment and comprehension as well as improve test scores. From preparing for summer test-out exams to writing high-scoring essays for AP Literature and Composition courses to studying grammar and vocabulary for the SAT or ACT, having the support of a writing coach can make the most of limited study time.

Study strategies and practice of all four language skills can improve TOEFL scores and boost confidence.
